Peacock Medicare’s philosophy of care is to keep the resident at the centre of everything we do. Each resident will have an individual person-centred care plan which is agreed by the resident and next of kin. This allows our staff to deliver the care they require when they require it, focusing on what they can do rather than on what they can’t.

Resident’s care needs may change over time, and this is why it is important to reassess each resident on a monthly basis (more often if their needs change very quickly). Updating their care plan to reflect these changes allows staff to provide the care needed. 24 hour nursing care is available for residents who require assistance with washing, dressing, support with their nutrition.

Our nurses and carers are very experienced, most are trained within the UK, some have been recruited from abroad, all are trained to a very high standard meeting their specified regulatory body’s criteria. Our homes have a very high retention rate and many of our staff have over 20 years’ service with the company.
